Suriya starrer Kanguva is creating buzz as it gears up for a big screen release on November 14. Directed by Siva, the period fantasy film promises high-octane action and grand production values.
Suriya’s Kanguva is all set to hit big screens very soon. Much anticipations lay on the film which will see Suriya in a full-fledged role after two years. Tipped to be a period fantasy film, Kanguva is written and directed by Siva.
Kanguva is all set to hit big screens on November 14. While the film was earlier slotted to release alongside Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan on October 10. However, to avoid clash, the makers of Kanguva postponed the release. On November 14, Kanguva will be enjoying a solo release in Tamil Nadu. The film will release in over 11,000 screens worldwide, and in eight languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish.

The trailer of Kanguva was released a while back. The film revolves around a group of islands, which is filled with mystery. Kanguva will revolve around the clash of various clans, one which worships fire. Suriya represents this clan, as we are shown him to be a valiant warrior. The trailer boasts high octane action sequences, and grand production values.
Kanguva will see Suriya in two avatars, one in the titular role which is set thousands of years before, while the other will be the present-day Francis. Apart from Suriya, the upcoming film will also feature Hindi actors Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debuts, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar and others.
Kanguva is directed by Siva. Studio Green is backing the film. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad, with Vetri Palanisamy cranking the camera. Nishadh Yusuf has handled the edits. It is to be noted that Nishadh was recently found dead at his Kochi apartment. The makers of Kanguva paid their respects to the late technician.

The film has been censored U/A, making it suitable for all age groups to watch the film, and children with adult supervision. Kanguva has a runtime of two hours and 34 minutes.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by Prime Video. The film will soon stream on the platform after it finishes the theatrical run. The rights have been sold for a whopping price of Rs. 100 crore. The audience can expect Kanguva OTT release, around 40 days after the film’s theatrical release.
