Kangana Ranaut unveils first look posters of Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Avneet Kaur in Tiku weds Shera, filming begins

Kangana Ranaut makes her debut as a producer with Tiku Weds Shera.

Kangana Ranaut had earlier announced her home banner, Manikarnika Films Pvt. Ltd. Now, the actor has officially announced her debut production venture titled Tiku Weds Shera. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role and he is paired opposite Avneet Kaur, who is playing the female lead for the first time. Kangana took to her Instagram page and shared the first look posters of both the actors.

In the first poster, Nawazuddin is seen donning a hero's look from the 70s. Kangana captioned her post stating, "हम जब मिलते हैं, तो दिल से मिलते हैं, वरना ख़्वाबों में भी मुश्किल से मिलते हैं| Meet Shiraz Khan, Afghani urf Sheru."

While Avneet looks beautiful in a retro cabaret dancer look. While writing about her, the Panga actor captioned the photo as "चलो तो चाँद तक, नहीं तो शाम तक | Meet Tasleem Khan urf tiku."

Finally, Kangana shared a poster of Tiku weds Shera featuring both Nawazuddin and Avneet. The actor also announced that filming has begun. She stated, "Receiving the Padma Shri honour on the same day as beginning my journey as a producer is extremely special to me... Sharing with you all the first look of my first production venture under Manikarnika Films Pvt. Ltd... Tiku weds Sheru... Here’s a piece of my heart. I hope you all like it. Filming begins... See you soon in the theatres first. "

Tiku Weds Shera directed by Sai Kabeer, is set to be a theatrical release. Soon after that, the film is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

This is the first time Kangana has donned the producer's hat and the actor-filmmaker has been sharing her excitement to the fullest on her social media pages.

Before turning producer, the actor became a director by shooting certain portions of her National Award-winning film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which hit the big screens in 2019.
