The feisty Kangana Ranaut is now all set for the release of her next film ‘Tejas’. And she is leaving absolutely no stone unturned to ensure that the film is a success at the box office. Only recently, she had arranged for a special screening of the film for India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and also the Indian Air Force dignitaries.
The latest update on the actress is that, she is now all set to perform the traditional Ravan Dahan at Delhi's iconic Lav Kush Ramlila. The traditional event will be reportedly taking place in Delhi on October 24. For the unversed, ‘Ravan dahan’ is a tradition that is followed wherein an effigy of Ravan is set afire by relasing an arrow from a bow.
As for the film ‘Tejas’, the film will see Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Tejas Gill, who is an Air Force fighter pilot by profession. Just a few days ago, Kangana Ranaut had got an opportunity to meet up with Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh, who happens to be a real-life Air Force Pilot. Besides exchanged pleasantries with Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh, Kangana Ranaut also interacted with her and was seen having a great concertation with her. Kangana Ranaut also felicitated Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh for her unparalleled achievements.
For the uninitiated, Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh is the first and only female pilot to fly the Rafale fighter aircraft and also was also an integral part of the Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent which had participated in the Orion war exercise, which had taken place in France.
As for the film ‘Tejas’, besides Kangana Ranaut, it also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Vishak Nair, Varun Mitra, Anshul Chauhan in important roles. The film, which is being readied to be released on October 27 this year, has been directed by Sarvesh Mevara, who has also written the film.
