Kangana Ranaut is known for saying things that get a lot of flak. The actor has now stated that Bollywood scripts are inferior to those of South Indian films and that Bollywood star kids are not relatable to the audience.

Talking to ABP Live, Kangana said, "With us, the kids go abroad to complete their studies. They talk in English and only watch Hollywood films. Talk differently So how will they connect? They even look weird, like boiled eggs. So, people cannot relate."

The actor made these comments by specifically mentioning that she does not intend to troll anyone. The actor then cited the example of Allu Arjun’s pan-Indian superhit Pushpa: The Rise, saying that the titular character in the movie looks like someone we would know and that labourers can relate to the character. She then posed the question of who in Bollywood could look like a labourer.

Kangana had earlier come in support of Mahesh Babu’s "Bollywood cannot afford me" statement, saying that the Telugu superstar is right and his generation of actors had made the Telugu industry the best in the country.

Kangana is currently busy promoting her upcoming action thriller, Dhaakad. The spy flick will see the actor pull off several high-octane action sequences. The movie also features Arjun Rampal, Saswata Chatterjee, and Divya Dutta in important roles.

The movie is directed by Razneesh Ghai, aka Razy, and is backed by Asylum Films, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Sohel Maklai Productions. The movie, which will see Kangana appear in several getups, will hit theatres on May 20, 2022. The film will be clashing with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 at the box office.
