Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as a BJP candidate from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh
Bollywood actress and BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut has kickstarted her campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. The actress posted pictures from her meeting with senior BJP leaders from Himachal on her Instagram handle and expressed her aspiration of winning the election with a clear margin.
Taking to Instagram, Kangana posted a collection of pictures from her meeting with senior BJP members from Himachal Pradesh. The first picture showcases Kangana adorned with garlands while waving at the audience. The second picture features Kangana at the podium, addressing the audience. For the special event, Kangana opted for a pastel green saree, styled with pearl earrings and a ‘Pahari topi’.
The actress captioned the post, “Attended an office-bearers meeting of Mandi Loksabha constituency in the presence of State President Shri Dr. Rajeev Bindal ji, former CM Shri Jairam Thakur ji, our MLAs, other senior leaders, and Karyakarta. Together we will ensure that the lotus blooms with record margin in Mandi this time and give a third term to PM Shri @narendramodi Ji with a resounding majority.”
Kangana’s fans flooded her comment section, appreciating the actor’s commitment and hard work. One user wrote, “The Thalavi Kangana is ready to fight..Vote for BJP” while another wrote, “More power to you Queen.”
During a recent rally in Mandi, Kangana spoke about Rahul Gandhi and said that Congress could not deal with her nomination from Mandi, hence did cheap politics surrounding her. In her speech, the actor also reminded the people that Mandi is the place that organises the biggest Maha Shivratri year after year, while commenting that there are no such expectations from Congress.

Kangana is ready to serve the people of Mandi
After BJP announced Kangana’s nomination, the actress took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and expressed her gratitude for officially joining the party. She wrote that the BJP has always had her unconditional support and she abides by the high command’s decision to contest Lok Sabha polls from Mandi. Kangana added, “I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.”
