Directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, the film is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on November 12
The latest clip from Nivin Pauly’s Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham does not stray away from all the videos we have seen from the movie until now. It is quirky and hilarious, hinting at a movie that will have viewers in stitches.
The latest 50-second clip, which was shared on social media by Pauly, features Rajesh Madhavan reciting a beautiful love poem.
“Fallen Mayflowers formed a blanket of yellow on the ground. The soil and the dew adorned shades of yellow,” he starts off. Everybody else in the frame has their eyes fixed on him.
Pauly’s Pavithran can also be seen in the video telling Grace Antony’s Haripriya that this is the age of body shaming. The video is quirky, a feature that looks to be a highlight of the movie.
The movie follows Pavithran and Haripriya as they check into a hotel, where the problems are bigger than the issues they are trying to solve.
The out and out comedy is helmed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, who previously directed Android Kunjappan Ver. 5.25.
Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham is the first Malayalam movie that gets a direct OTT release through Disney+ Hotstar. The movie is backed by Pauly under the banner of Pauly Jr.
The comedy also stars Soubin Shahir, Unni Raja, Jaffer Idukki, Biju Sopanam, Joy Mathew, Vinay Forrt and Sudheesh among others.
