Sudhakar Reddy of Sreshth Movies had met the star in Chennai to discuss the promotional strategy
If all goes well, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, releasing on June 3, will have one of the best-ever openings in the veteran’s career, going by the excitement the promos and the music have generated in the last few days. The makers of the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directorial have associated with some of the best names in the business for its release across multiple languages.
In Telugu, even if it’s clashing with a biggie like Major, it’s expected to start on a strong note, given the buzz is strong and the region’s rights have been grabbed by Sreshth Movies, the brainchild of prominent distributor, producer Sudhakar Reddy (father of actor Nithiin). The film wrapped its censor formalities yesterday.
Sudhakar Reddy has now met Kamal Haasan in Chennai to discuss the promotional strategy in Telugu states. The former even presented a series of Telugu posters to the star. Vikram will be released in over 400 theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. A grand pre-release event will be held in Telugu states shortly.
Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil play the other key roles in the actioner that’ll also feature Suriya in a cameo. Vikram’s cast also comprises Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Arjun Das, Shivani Narayanan and others. Girish Gangadhar is the cinematographer for the film edited by Philomin Raj. Anirudh Ravichander, with his music, has kept the film in the news for good reasons.
Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran have produced the film under Raaj Kamal Films International.
