Kamal Haasan thanks Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan for honouring him for Vikram's success

The pre-release event of Kamal Haasan's Vikram which was held in Hyderabad was attended by veteran Tollywood superstar Venkatesh. Earlier today, another veteran Telugu star, none other than Chiranjeevi, surprised everyone by posting pictures of him posing for photos along with Kamal, Salman Khan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj from his Twitter page.

All of them were smiling while posing for photos, and needless to say, their fans lapped up the pictures as soon as they were dropped and went viral in no time.

Kamal has now taken to social media to thank Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan for the whale of a time he spent with them and thanked their family members, too, for taking care of him. He said that it was fun chatting with Salman while he recollected the memories of those days where he and Chiru got trained under filmmaker K Balachander.

Kamal tweeted, "Thank you @KChiruTweets gaaru. Was nice reminiscing our time together under KB. It was nice chatting up our mutual friend @BeingSalmanKhan bhai as well. Great evening. Thanks to all in your family who took care of us (sic)."

Lokesh, too, expressed his gratitude towards Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan for hosting them, and posted one more photo from the event. Interestingly, there were reports of the director helming the Hindi remake of his Master (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) with Salman Khan essaying the role Vijay played in the original.

Upon release in January 2021, Master went on to become the biggest grossing film in the country during the pandemic era. Now, Vikram is set to surpass the Vijay-starrer at both Tamil Nadu and worldwide box office. Lokesh's next project will have him joining hands with Vijay again for Thalapathy 67.
