Kamal Haasan is all praise for Jai Bhim; Suriya thanks him wholeheartedly for being an inspiration

Suriya-starrer Jai Bhim directed by Tha Se Gnanavel, started streaming on Amazon Prime Video a few hours ago, and a few notable figures have already been going gaga over the courtroom drama. It was Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin who first showered praise on the actor for headlining a project which touched upon a few relevant topics, including caste discrimination.

He also lauded the actor when the latter contributed a huge sum for the education of deprived people. Actor Vishnu Vishal, too, took to Twitter to say positive things about the film and congratulated Suriya for playing the lead role in a movie which deserves attention ​from movie goers.

Now, none other than Kamal Haasan has appreciated the actor, who has also bankrolled the project, under his home production 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Kamal posted a picture on Twitter in which he was seen along with Gnanavel, actor Manikandan, music director Sean Roldan and director of the production house Rajasekar Pandian among others.

The translated version of his tweet read, "Jai Bhim has been watched. My eyes are in tears. Director Gnanavel has depicted the struggles of the deprived people in an effective manner. My heartfelt appreciation for Suriya, Jyotika and others among the crew members who strived to bring this story before the audience."

An excited Suriya replied that he is only following the untrodden path Kamal had created long ago. His tweet read, "I'm just following your footsteps. It was you who sowed the seed. My sincere thanks for your love and wishes." Suriya also reacted to Prakash Raj's tweet and appreciated the latter for coming up with an extraordinary performance. Prakash had earlier expressed happiness in being part of the project.
