Kamal Haasan honoured by Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan after success of Vikram; see photos

Kamal Haasan’s Vikram has already become one of the biggest Tamil releases of all time and has been garnining fans all over the country. The legendary filmmaker has now been honoured by megastar Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan.

Chiranjeevi took to social media to share photos of the event, to the excitement of the fans. The actor revealed that Kamal Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj were invited over to his home and honoured, in the presence of Bollywood biggie Salman Khan.

The photos featuring the three massive stars and director Lokesh have been making the rounds on social media since it was shared by Chiranjeevi.

The actor also praised the action thriller, calling it an intense and thrilling film. The actor also congratulated Kamal Haasan for its success.

Kamal’s Vikram, co-starring Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, has become a massive box office hit after receiving mixed to positive reviews from critics and fans. Directed by Lokesh, the movie is bankrolled by Kamal’s Raaj Kamal Films International.

The movie also stars Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Chemban Vinod, Santhana Bharathi, Gayathrie Shankar, Ramesh Thilak, Maya S. Krishnan, and Elango Kumaravel among others. Actor Suriya also appears in a special cameo in the movie.

Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in Acharya, is currently working on Godfather, the official Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam movie Lucifer starring Mohanlal. Salman Khan is also a part of the movie, and is expected to play the cameo role handled by Prithviraj in the original.
