The Tamil film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also has Kalidas Jayaram and Narain from Mollywood as part of the cast
Director Lokesh Kangaraj’s upcoming thriller Vikram, which has Kamal Haasan in the lead, has been adding a lot of talented Mollywood actors as part of its cast too. The movie, which went on floors a few months ago, has Fahadh Faasil as one of its leads.
Soon after the movie began shooting, it was announced that Kalidas Jayaram and Narain too are part of the cast, and now we hear that Angamaly Diairies and Jallikattu actor Chemban Vinod Jose is the latest Mollywood addition to the movie that is made on a huge canvas.
The film will mark Chemban’s second Tamil movie after Goli Soda 1. Chemban is rumoured to be playing a villain in the film, which has Kamal playing the titular character. The film, which has completed almost 50% of its shoot, also has Vijay Sethupathi, Shivani Narayanan and Swathishta Krishnan in pivotal roles. Vikram also has Angamaly Diaries and Jallikattu cinematographer Girish Ganagadharan as its cinematographer.
Chemban, meanwhile, has a host of exciting releases lined up in Malayalam. His next release will be Ajagajantharam, in which he will be sharing screen space with Angamaly Diaries’ Antony Varghese. He has also scripted and acted in Kunchacko Boban’s Bheemante Vazhi, which is currently set for a theatrical release on November 19.
The actor also plays the iconic character of Kayamkulam Kochunni in Vinayan’s period drama Pathonpatham Noottandu, which has Siju Wilson and Kayadu Lohar as part of the cast. Chemban is also part of Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Churuli and Kamal KM’s Pada, which is based on the true incident of Ayyankkali activists holding the district collector of Palakkad hostage in 1996.
