Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan's production banner, Raaj Kamal Films International, has announced a new project featuring Shruti Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The unveiling included a creative poster with the caption, "Inimel Delulu is the New Solulu."

While the company has not shared much information about the project, it is safe to assume that it's likely to be a music video. Earlier, Kamal had talked about the changing landscape for musicians in India, which was ushered in by the digital revolution. He had rued the lack of platforms for independent music, typically associated with movies. He expressed his intention to challenge this norm by investing in independent musical talents, including his daughter Shruti, a trained singer.

Lokesh Kanagaraj exploring new roles

It seems Lokesh is also taking on new roles in his film career. While he has become a force to reckon with in the Indian film industry with back-to-back blockbusters like Vikram and Leo, he seems to be also trying his hand at acting.

Lokesh recently made a cameo appearance in actor RJ Balaji's latest movie Singapore Saloon. This upcoming mystery project could be another stepping stone in his acting career.

Shruti Haasan reshaping her career

Shruti recently released a music video titled Monster Machine amassing over two million views on YouTube alone. In the video, she showcased her true potential as a singer and performer, addressing the theme of wild fury concealed beneath a calm exterior. The song was also applauded as a commentary on gender biases and a rejection of patriarchal views.

Shruti appears to be reshaping her trajectory in the entertainment industry, opting for more substantial roles that offer a broader platform to showcase her acting prowess rather than being confined to the stereotypical roles of a hero's arm candy. Her last appearance was in Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire, written and directed by Prashanth Neel, alongside Prabhas and Prithviraj in the lead roles, turning into a significant box office success last year.
