Kalki 2898 AD worldwide box office collection day 1 - Filmmaker Nag Ashwin's epic science fiction film was released theatrically on June 27, 2024. Kalki 2898 AD opened to a massive response from both critics and audiences alike. Featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, the movie got a bumper opening at the worldwide box office. Now, the global box office figures of Kalki 2898 AD are out on social media.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh updated the worldwide box office figures of Kalki 2898 AD on Instagram. While sharing the same on Instagram, he penned, "Gross BOC... Day 1... India: ₹ 27.5 cr [Hindi] Worldwide: ₹ 190 cr [all languages] (sic)." The Nag Aswhin directorial, starring Sr Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika, and Prabhas, earned Rs 190 crore (gross) at the global box office.
As far as the film's domestic collection is concerned, Kalki 2898 AD minted Rs 95 crore at the ticket window. The language-wise day-one collection of the film is Rs 64.5 crore (Telugu), Rs 24 crore (Hindi), Rs 4 crore (Tamil), Rs 2.2 crore (Malayalam), and Rs 0.3 crore (Kannada).

Kalki 2898 AD makers' special request to the audience
On the day of Kalki 2898 AD's release, the makers requested the audience not to give away spoilers or any major updates on social media. The makers mentioned that Kalki 2898 AD has been a journey of 4 years with a lot of hard work put in by Nag Ashwin and his team. They urged people to respect cinema and craft.
"Let's join hands to safeguard the content of the movie and celebrate the success together. Regards, Vyjayanthi Movies (sic)," a part of their note read.

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Kalki 2898 AD's Hindi version will be released on Netflix after its theatrical run ends. The release date, however, has not been locked yet.
