Kalki 2898 AD: Plot, cast and crew
The Nag Ashwin directorial reportedly narrates the story of the world’s last city, Kaashi, in the year 2898. A prophecy suggests that the 10th avathar of Lord Vishnu, who is known as Kalki, is about to be born. Immortal Ashwatthama tries to protect the mother of unborn Kalki, played by Deepika Padukone, from the dark powers led by ‘Supreme’. Bhairava, the character of Prabhas, is a self-centered man who is eventually destined to join this mission.

Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, Shobana, Pasupathy, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, Anna Ben, and a talented child artist are also playing supporting roles in the film. Santhosh Narayanan composed the songs and original score for the film. Djordje Stojiljkovic is the director of photography. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handles the editing.
