Kalki 2898 AD - The Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer locks a new release date, details inside

The Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer Kalki 2898 AD is all set to release on May 9, 2024.

Kalki 2898 AD, aka Project K, is one of the most anticipated films in the country. Prabhas plays the main lead and Deepika Padukone is the heroine of this scientific action drama, which is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies on a massive scale. Nag Ashwin, of Mahanati fame, is directing this film, which has completed 80% of its shoot.

Well, the latest update is that the makers have decided to release the film on May 9, 2024. The makers announced the same today with a special poster. This has made the fans super happy, as Prabhas will have yet another release soon after the super success of Salaar.

Project K is one of the most prestigious films and the legendary Kamal Haasan is playing the main villain. Already, the film has the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The recently released teaser, which was launched at Comic-Con in the US, made heads turn.

Project K made headlines a few months ago when a key still from the film was leaked online. Upset with this, the makers filed a defamation suit against the VFX company, which was handling the graphics part of the film.

Well, Kamal Haasan being in Project K is a great sight to see and it will be really exciting to see him sharing screen space with other big stars from the film. The makers are doing everything possible to keep the film in the news. Very soon, a teaser of the film will be revealed to the audience.
