Kalki 2898 AD, the highly anticipated sci-fi dystopian film helmed by Nag Ashwin, is one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2024. Prabhas, the Telugu superstar is appearing as the titular character Kalki in the movie, which marks the Telugu cinema debut of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. The big budget venture, which features a stellar star cast including legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, is gearing up for its massive theatrical release in the Summer of 2024.
Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Kalki 2898 AD teaser is gearing up for its grand release. As per the reports, the teaser recently completed its censor formalities, and the makers are the expected to announce its release date, very soon.

If the recent updates are to be believed, the much-awaited the Kalki 2898 AD teaser will be officially revealed on January 15, 2024, on the special occasion of Makar Sankranti. The sources close to the Nag Ashwin directorial suggests that the makers of the movie are planning to reveal the teaser release date officially in a couple of days, with a special update.
As per the reports, the Kalki 2898 AD teaser has a duration of 1.23 minutes. Interestingly, the teaser has bagged a U/A certificate from the censor board. From this, it is safe to assume that the official teaser of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s sci-fi film has quite a few violent action scenes and sequences that are not suitable to watch for the audiences below age of 12 years. However, we will have to wait till the release of the Kalki 2898 AD teaser, to know what director Nag Ashwin and his team have in store for the audiences.

Well, from the creative decision to release the first glimpse of Kalki 2898 AD at the San Diego Comic-Con, it was quite evident that the Prabhas starrer is not a typical Telugu commercial potboiler. The movie, which can be easily called the biggest risk and most exciting project so far in its leading man’s career, is expected to push all the creative, commercial, and logistical boundaries of the South Indian film industry.
