We at OTTplay have already reported that Prabhas has charged a whopping Rs 150 crore as his fee. Now, as the film has come to an end and the makers need to clear major finances, we have come to know that Prabhas has slashed his fee and has charged only Rs 80 crore.

The news is also that he will take a share of the profits once the film is released. He has signed a bond with the makers, Vyjayanthi Movies, in such a way that he gets a large part in the various rights of the film. So, if the film becomes a smash hit, Prabhas will get close to Rs 100 crore, as per the news.

The pre-release business of Kalki has been done on a record note, and the Prabhas starrer needs to make at least Rs 125 crore in Telugu states to be in the safe zone. The advance bookings are on fire in the US as Kalki has crossed the $3 million in just the pre-sales. If the film starts with a positive word of mouth, then the sky is the limit.

Nag Ashwin, the director, is nowhere to be seen these days, as he is busy with the last-minute formalities of the release. There is news that Kalki will not have an Imax release as the makers have asked the theatre owners not to sell the tickets for the IMAX version. We need to see how all this pans out in the days to come.
