Kalki 2898 AD is a smash hit, and director Nag Ashwin, in his latest interview has revealed to the press that he needs to create everything from scratch for the sequel and will very soon start working on the second part. On the other hand, the makers of Kalki, Vyjayanthi Movies are thrilled as the film is minting solid money at the box office.

Pawan Sadineni to direct Dulquer Salmaan for a love story
One of the sources close to the team has revealed to us that the said project will be an out-and-out love story with a realistic backdrop. The source adds that the script has come out quite well, and the drama, along with the romance, will be the biggest highlight of the film.
Pawan Sadineni is currently casting for the film, and some big names from Telugu cinema will be seen playing important characters. Along with Vyjayanthi Movies, Allu Aravind and Sandeep Gunnam have come on board as co-producers.
Dulquer Salmaan is signing back-to-back films in Telugu and will next be seen in Luck Baskhar, which is being directed by Venky Atluri. The film is almost done with its shoot and will be out on September 27, 2024. Sithara Entertainments is bankrolling this film with Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.
