Nag Ashwin is the man of the moment after the success of his last film Kalki 2898 AD. He made headlines by narrating Kalki in such an entertaining manner and the result was there for us all to see as the film created new box office records.
On the other hand, the producer of Kalki, Aswini Dutt met Chiranjeevi the other day as their classic Indra was released on Chiranjeevi's birthday which was celebrated on August 22, 2024. In of of his interviews, Aswini Dutt revealed that he is all set to make the sequel to his favorite film in his banner, Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari, which had Chiranjeevi and Sridevi in key roles.
The fans have been demanding the sequel to this classic for the longest time and now the project is going to be fulfilled soon. The news in the film circles is that Aswini Dutt is in plans to make this film with Nag Ashwin and the plans for the same are also on as of now.
In one of his interviews, Nag Ashwin also revealed that he would love to make a sequel to Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor as the leads. Well, Aswini Dutt is in full confidence that he can pull off the sequel, and no one better than his son-in-law, Nag Ashwin can make it on a massive scale.
Nag Ashwin is busy with the sequel of Kalki and only time will tell when this film will go on floors. There is also news that Aswinin Dutt is also in plans to make the sequel to Chiranjeevi's Indra as well. These are two iconic projects of Chiranjeevi and many say that it is very tough to execute their sequels.
But knowing Aswinin Dutt, he can pull off anything but Nag Ashwin directing Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari has made headlines. Only time will tell if this project will even happen in the days to come. For now, all eyes are on the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
