Sonakshi Sinha is currently grabbing all the attention for her wedding with her long-time boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal. The couple got hitched on June 23 in Mumbai in a private ceremony in front of their family and close friends. Post her wedding shenanigans, Sonakshi's first film that will be released will be Kakuda. The film is directed by Munjya director Aditya Sarportdar and will skip the theatrical run and will directly be released on OTT. Here's everything you need to know about the film!
Star cast of Kakuda
The comedy-drama stars Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, and Saqib Saleem in the lead roles. All three of them are known for their comic timing and hence it will be interesting to watch them share the screen together for the first time in this spooky drama.
When and where to watch Kakuda?
The film will arrive directly on ZEE5 and will be available for all the subscribers of the platform and the OTTplay Premium subscription holders. It will also mark this home-grown OTT’s foray into the genre of horror-comedy. The film will be released on 12th July 2024.
Plot of Kakuda
The narrative of the film is said to be a spine-chilling story set against the backdrop of a small village named Ratodi in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district. The entire village has two similar-looking doors in their houses, one normal and the other one is a little smaller than that. In a daily ritual, the small door is supposed to be opened every Tuesday at 7:15 PM sharp. And in case that does not happen, the man of the house will have to face the wrath of Kakuda. After Stree, once again, this horror story has men as their target. Let's wait and watch to see how this story unfolds on 12th July 2024.
