Kakababur Protyaborton was released on February 4 this year to mostly positive reviews. With the Hoichoi premiere, excited fans who missed the opportunity to witness the magic of African safari on the big screen can experience the movie right at home.
Chakrabarti’s quick, casual and effortless performance is a delight to watch and he manages to draw attention with his Chaplinesque presence.
The visuals range from the great migration of wildebeests from Maasai Mara to Serengeti, Tanzania, and Soumik Halder’s grand cinematography captures the essence of the great wilderness in the best possible style and grace.
It's the eighth collaboration between director Srijit Mukherji and actor Prosenjit Chatterjee. They have previously collaborated in Autograph, Baishe Srabon, Mishawr Rawhoshyo, Jaatishwar, Zulfiqar, Yeti Obhijaan and Gumnaami.
