Kajol is gearing up for the release of her OTT film Do Patti. The actress recently revealed why her daughter Nysa made excuses to avoid watching the movie's trailer.
Here's why Nysa made excuses to watch Do Patti's trailer.
Kajol has often expressed that her children, Nysa and Yug, don't watch her movies and are more fascinated by her husband Ajay Devgn's work. As the actress is currently gearing up for Do Patti's release, she revealed how her children reacted to the trailer. In an interview, the actress revealed that her daughter Nysa made excuses to avoid watching her movie Do Patti's trailer. However, she eventually watched and liked the trailer.
In an interview with News18, Kajol shared that both Nysa and Yug liked Do Patti's trailer after watching it. The actress has now told them to watch the movie once it is released on Netflix. Before Nysa saw Do Patti's trailer, the young girl made excuses to avoid watching it. "My son just nodded, but Nysa said things like, ‘I’m in Switzerland, I’m at university, and I have exams coming up'," she told the news publication.

This is when Kriti Sanon suggested the actress should've told Nysa that the film was going to be released on Netflix and she could watch it whenever. To this, Kajol added, "All I could do was request her to watch it whenever she gets the time." The actress further revealed why her children are reluctant to watch her movies.
"It’s because when my character cries, they feel like their mumma is crying for real. Whatever my character does, they think I’m doing it in real life. They can’t separate the two. Watching my performances really affects them," stated Kajol.
For the uninitiated, Kajol plays the role of a fierce cop in Do Patti. The actress has donned a cop's uniform for the first time in her three-decade-long career. In this film, Kajol will be seen as Vidya Jyothi. As for Kriti, she plays a double role in Shashanka Chaturvedi's movie. Shaheer Sheikh, too, is an integral part of the movie.
Meanwhile, Do Patti is scheduled for an OTT premiere on Netflix on October 25, 2024.
