Kajol opens up about working with Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim in Sarzameen - 'He is absolutely...'

Bollywood actress Kajol is celebrating her 50th birthday today (August 5). She has been working in the Hindi film industry for a long time now. As of now, she is busy with her upcoming projects and discussed a few of them in an interview. Kajol opened up about her film Sarzameen, which is being directed by Boman Irani's son Kayoze Irani. The actress will be sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the movie.

In an interview with Variety, Kajol spoke about her experience working with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the movie. Besides that, the B-town actress didn't divulge more details about the film, helmed by Kayoze Irani.

"I’ve worked with Prithviraj (Sukumaran) for the first time and he’s absolutely wonderful to work with and so was Ibrahim (Ali Khan), so I think it’s going to be quite interesting to see both of them on screen," she said. The film is said to be a mystery thriller, which will delve into relationships and the facets of love. It will be backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

When Karan Johar teased Sarzameen

Earlier this year, Karan Johar dropped a social media post and let the audiences guessing about his new film and its star cast. A note shared by the filmmaker/producer read that it wasn't about a 'movie announcement'. However, it was also revealed that the film, in question, is ready and will be released soon.

The netizens guessed it was Sarzameen, considering the hints given about the star cast. Teasing Ibrahim's role in the film, the note further read, "A legacy debut actor who is working tirelessly to find his spot in the sunshine of exceptional talent & combating the obsession with the N word! But keeping his head down and just working!"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol has Maharagni lined up for release. She also has Do Patti with Kriti Sanon in the pipeline.
