Kajol and Anil Kapoor recently reunited for a promotional video to cross-promote their respective web shows on Disney+ Hotstar. The two actors last appeared onscreen together in the movie 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain' almost two decades ago.

Anil Kapoor, renowned for his charismatic on-screen presence, plays the powerful antagonist Shelly Rungta in Sandeep Modi's Hindi rendition of the well-known action thriller 'The Night Manager. On the other hand, Kajol will play a lawyer in Suparn Verma's legal drama 'The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha,' the Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed American show 'The Good Wife.' Both the shows are set to release on July 14.

In the opening scene of the promotional video, Kajol calls Anil Kapoor and after a brief greeting, the discussion turns humorous. To Kajol's displeasure, Anil begins singing the theme song from their previous movie, 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain,' bringing a nostalgic element to the conversation.

You can see Anil and Kajol discussing which show is superior. Anil argues that his evil role has plenty of drama and entertainment, in contrast to Kajol who believes that her show has a lot of drama and a new age appeal.

The final word in Kajol and Anil's argument is that the most unacceptable act was the release of the first four episodes of 'The Night Manager' in March and the subsequent four-month delay for the release of the remaining three episodes, which happened last week on June 29. The two then cut off the call and let their separate teams know that cross-promotion of their events would no longer take place while they both get irritated.
