After giving birth to her son, Kajal Aggarwal is back in the game, making her comeback to Telugu cinema with the film Bhagavanth Kesari. The film was a smash hit. Kajal is also doing films in Tamil, and one of her projects, Karungaapiyam, was released on May 19, 2023, but was a massive flop.

Kajal Karthika is a horror thriller with Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role. Not many are even aware that such a film has come out in the first place.

Kajal Karthika was directed by Deekay and also has Regina Cassandra, Janani, and Raiza Wilson in key roles. Despite a solid star cast, the film did not work at the box office. Prasad SN composed the music for this film, which is about a girl who is tortured by her villagers, and she comes back as a ghost and takes revenge. Kajal's performance was appreciated by critics, but the film did not do well due to its routine and outdated narration. The team of Aha feels that Kajal Karthika will be a good addition to the films in their library and will impress horror movie lovers.
