Young actor Dhanveerrah has two exciting projects lined up for release and both look promising. The By 2 Love actor will soon be seen in Shankar Raman's action entertainer Vaamana for which he has a stark image transformation. In the same vein, Dhanveerrah has director Jayathirtha's ambitious period film Kaiva wherein he plays the titular role.

While a lot of the details of Kaiva's subject matter and the making remain a secret, the makers recently unveiled the first look of the film. The special update came on Dhaveerrah's birthday and the first look reveals a rather intense and enigmatic side of his character. The film is set in the year 1983 and uses the iconic annual Bengaluru Karaga festival as its backdrop to explore a romantic story that features elements of crime. Dhanveerrah's character is a reference to lord Kaivara Bheema.

In a recent interview with an online publication, Jayathirtha revealed the story of Kaiva is inspired by a true incident that occurred around the time in the 1980s and that the film's shooting is nearing completion. Megha Shetty, who will soon be seen in the rom-com Dilpasand alongside Darling Krishna and Nishvika, will play the female lead in Kaiva.

Director Jayathirtha is also gearing up for the release of his other epic love story Banaras which stars Zaid Khan and Sonal Monteiro. What seems like an alluring romance drama, Banaras has been shot extensively in the holy city of Varanasi, including all the 64 ghats. The film will release in theatres on November 4 in Kannada and will be dubbed and released simultaneously in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
