Kadaseela Biriyani release date: When and where to watch this crime drama featuring a host of debutants

This is Sashikanth's third movie to have an OTT premiere on Netflix this year after Aelay and Jagame Thandhiram

Indie filmmaker Nishanth Kalidindi's Kadaseela Biryani had hit the screens on November 19. The crime drama, starring Vasanth Selvam, Hakkim Shah and Vijay Ram among others, was bankrolled by S Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra. Judah Paul and Neil Sebastian have composed music for the film while Vinoth Thanigasalam has scored its background score.

Azeem Mohammed and Hestin Jose Joseph have cranked the camera for the movie which has editing by Ignaitious Aswin. Vijay Sethupathi and Anirudh Ravichander had unveiled the film's teaser and trailer respectively. The former had also lent voiceover for the movie.

What's Kadaseela Biriyani all about?

The film's plot revolves around a group of youngsters from Tamil Nadu who go to Kerala to avenge their friend's death. However, little did they know that they would have to go through unexpected hurdles and even face death a few times. They realize that their enemy is quite powerful than they had anticipated. Will they be able to take revenge against their dear friend's death?

A lion's share of the movie's shooting was happened in Kerala. The actors in the film, mostly debutants, were roped in from both the states.

When and where to watch Kadaseela Biryani?

The movie is having its OTT premiere on Netflix on December 17, four weeks after its theatrical release. This is producer Sashikanth's third movie to have an OTT premiere on Netflix this year.

While his Aelay released on the digital platform a week after its direct television premiere, Jagame Thandhiram had a straight-to-OTT release on Netflix despite movie buffs pinning hopes to watch in on big screens.
