The 54th International Film Festival of India, Goa, is just around the corner. In less than a week, the festival will begin on November 20 and will run till November 28. Pankaj Tripathi’s Kadak Singh, which is scheduled to be released on Zee5 in December, will have its premiere at the festival. Directed by National Award-winner Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan Sanjana Sanghi and others.

The director and other cast members took to their social media handles to announce the news. On his social media, Aniruddha wrote, “Kadak Singh ki duniya ka asli sach aayega bahar, pehli baar! #KadakSingh is set for its official World Premiere at the 54th IFFI, Goa!”

While talking to OTTplay, Aniruddha said, “This is a proud moment for all of us. IFFI is one of the biggest film festivals in our country. I am also very happy that a lot of cinephiles will be able to watch the film on the big screen at the festival. Last year, my film Lost also premiered there before it was released in February. A number of my films, including Anuranan, were shown at this festival. I am happy and elated,” he said.

Jaya Ahsan, who will debut in Bollywood with Kadak Singh, also shared the news on her social media.
