Who is director Manikandan?

Manikandan is a popular name in the Tamil cinema industry as a cinematographer, writer and director. He made his debut through the 2020 short film Wind and achieved his breakthrough through the 2015 feature film Kaaka Muttai. The iconic movie revolves around two children from the slums of Chennai, who dream of eating pizza.

The movie went on to places and secured a National Film Award for Best Children’s Film in 2015. Going forward, Manikandan has done films like Kuttrame Thandanai and Aandavan Kattalai. His movies are much anticipated as the previous ones have already set a standard, which is the same reason why Kadaisi Vivasayi is eagerly anticipated.
