OTTplay had reported a long time ago that R Chandru’s gangster flick with Upendra in the lead had been sold to Amazon Prime Video as the digital partner with a 30-day deal and that given that the film was in theatres on March 17, that it would be on the platform by mid-April.

In the last several days, April 14 was speculated as the date it would drop on Prime Video, but there was no word from the streamer confirming the same. But then, there was no denial either. And now the final word is here. A little while ago, Amazon Prime Video confirmed that Kabzaa will indeed begin streaming on the platform on April 14.

Written, directed and produced by R Chandru and co-produced by Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin, Kabzaa will be available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Chandru had dubbed the film in Marathi, Odia and Bangla as well for prospective theatrical releases, but those versions will perhaps be reserved for satellite only.
