Kabuliwala: Popular young artiste from television to play Mini with Mithun Chakraborty

Directed by Suman Ghosh, the film also features Abir Chatterjee and Sohini Sarkar

The character of Misti, in the serial Mithai, was immensely popular. She was perhaps the second favorite with the audience, right next to Soumitrisha Kundu – the protagonist. The child actor Anumegha Kahali played the role of Misti. After Mithai ended, Soumitrisha Kundu debuted on the big screen with a film where she is playing opposite Dev. Now it is being heard that Anumegha is also coming to the big screen with the film Kabuliwala.

It has already been widely reported that Suman Ghosh is making Kabuliwala, where Mithun Chakraborty will play the titular role. Anumegha will play the role of Mini. Anumegha has already done some shooting with Mithun. But her family does not want to reveal anything right now. Sohini Sarkar and Abir Chatterjee are supposed to play her parents in the film. The film will be produced by SVF and Zee Studios and Indraadip Dasgupta will be the composer of the film.

Bengali people have different emotions regarding Kabuliwala. Tapan Sinha made the film Kabuliwala, based on Tagore's popular story. Chabi Biswas played the role of Rahmat and Sharmila Thakur's sister Aindrila Thakur played Mini. It is being heard that the story will be contemporised. The shooting of Kabuliwala is in full swing. The shooting will take place in Kolkata, Ladakh, and Afghanistan.
