Kaathal The Core success teaser – Mammootty, Jyotika and Sudhi Kozhikode shine in glimpses of the poetic film

Kaathal The Core, the recently released family drama that stars Mammootty and Jyotika in the lead roles, has emerged as a critical and commercial success. The movie, which is helmed by Jeo Baby, has been hailed for its brave and sincere portrayal of homosexuality and relationships. The makers of Kaathal The Core released the success teaser of the project, which unveils the soul of the film most poetically.

Mathew, Omana, and Thankan’s journies in Kaathal The Core

The impactful success teaser finally brings the character Thankan (played brilliantly by Sudhi Kozhikode) to the forefront. Thankan, the lonely lover of Mammootty’s character Mathew Devassy, effectively conveys the emotional turmoil of Mathew, him, and many others, in just a few impactful lines. “Everyone is scared of losing the ones they love. But there are some people, who don’t get love because of that fear,” he says, as the teaser showcases some of the finest moments of Jeo Baby’s revolutionary film.

Sudhi Kozhikode, who is a highly underrated talent, gets the finest moments in the teaser, from his conversation with another character, the heartbreaking look from the car amidst rain, and the final scene, in which Thankan is seen sticking Mathew’s election campaign posters with lots of affection. Mammootty, as always, is amazed with his portrayal of Mathew, in the teaser, which is made more impactful by Jyotika’s powerful presence as Omana.

Kaathal The Core OTT release

Even though there is no official confirmation on the OTT platform or release date of Kaathal The Core yet, the latest updates suggest that the Mammootty starrer will hit the digital space for Christmas. The Jeo Baby directorial is slated to release in the renowned OTT platform Jio Cinema, as their Malayalam launch project. The OTT release date, time, and other details are expected to be out in another week.

Along with Mammootty, Jyotika, and Sudhi Kozhikode, Kaathal The Core features a stellar star cast including RS Panickar, Joji John, Anagha Maya Ravi, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Alex Alister, late Kalabhavan Haneef, Josey Sijo, and others in the supporting roles. Salu K Thomas is the director of photography. Mathews Pulickan composed songs and the original score. Francies Louis handled the editing. Kaathal The Core is produced by Mammootty himself, under his home banner Mammootty Kampany.
