Reports inform us that Tharun Sudhir and his team are aiming the upcoming festive occasion to drop a major update.
Challenging Star Darshan's fans were hoping to see a major update arrive on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi but they were left a tad underwhelmed when they instead got a new poster from the film. The most recent update shared by Tharun Sudhir & Co. shows Darshan and Radhana Ram the two leads of the film, for the first together in their respective roles. As much as one liked seeing that poster, it was evident that the fans were ardently looking forward to seeing the teaser drop on that day.
But, it looks like the wait for that teaser won't be all that long because social media is currently abuzz with speculations that team Kaatera is aiming for another special occasion to do the honours. And if those speculations do turn out to be true after all, we will get to see Darshan in all his retro glory this September.
Kaatera teaser to arrive on Ganesha Chaturthi?
The latest update in this regard comes from a Kannada daily which informs us that the makers of Kaatera are currently in the process of cutting the teaser. As already mentioned, Tharun Sudhir and his team are expectedly looking at the upcoming Gowri-Ganesha festival to bring out the maiden teaser of their film, but should that fall into place as per plan, one can certainly expect a visual glimpse of some kind.
What could you expect from that visual glimpse? The same report says that it could feature a small bit of Darshan's performance in his character along with a few dialogues. V. Harikrishna is said to be working on the background score for the upcoming teaser/glimpse.

Kaatera takes us back to the '70s
As all the promotional material suggests, Tharun Kishore Sudhir's film is set in the 1970s with a rural Karnataka setting and farmers' protests serving as its main backdrop. The makers are said to have made painstaking efforts to recreate the said era - from the costumes to set pieces - and are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film is worth all the hype. Aside from Darshan and Radhana Ram, the cast of Kaatera also includes Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Srinivasa Murthy, Vijanath Biradar and others.
