The upcoming Tovino Thomas starrer Kaanekkaane has been widely discussed lately. The promising trailer and the stellar cast that includes Aishwarya Lekshmi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Tovino and Shruti Ramachandran, have made it one of the most-anticipated films. For the eager audience, the crew has just released their first track from the movie titled Palnilavin Poykayil.

The beautiful melody in Sithara Krishnakumar’s magical voice is certainly an ethereal experience for music lovers. The visuals of the song not only has been perfectly blended with the mood of the music but also gives a sneak peek at the mysterious storyline. Suraj seems to be reminiscing about the happy life of the Tovino-Shruti duo, as the actor is seen paired with Aishwarya Lekshmi in the present. Set in the background of a birthday celebration, the intense actor Suraj goes to and fro to the old memories. From the intriguing emotions of the senior actor, it is hinted that something shocking has happened in his and Tovino’s lives.

The refreshing melody is composed by Ranjin Raj, while the lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Within hours of the release, the song has received a massive response from the netizens. Many conveyed their love and wishes for the movie in the comment sections too.

Kaanekkaane helmed by Manu Ashokan is one of the most awaited films as the director has already set his standards high with the hit Parvathy Thiruvoth starrer Uyare. The award-winning duo Bobby and Sanjay are the scriptwriters, who are famous for their movies like Traffic, Mumbai Police, and Uyare.

The movie is expected to release on September 17 on the OTT platform SonyLIV, as it enters the Kerala market. However, the exact release date is not yet officially confirmed. The teaser and trailer released last week have led to high expectations for this relationship drama due to the rollercoaster of emotions portrayed in it.
