Kaali Peeli Tales trailer: Gauahar Khan, Sayani Gupta & others capture essence of love, relationships

The trailer for Amazon miniTV's Kaali Peeli Tales is out. The anthology comprising of six short films features a stellar cast namely Vinay Pathak, Gauahar Khan, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, Soni Razdan, Hussain Dalal, Sharib Hashmi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Tanmay Dhanania, Sadiya Siddiqui and Adeeb Rais. The films are about human relationships revolving around young, urban characters on the crossroads of change and acceptance.
The short films are titled Single Jhumka, Love in Tadoba, Marriage 2.0, Fish Fry aur Coffee, Harra Bharra and Loose Ends. Kaali Peeli Tales centres around different themes such as romance, marriage, infidelity, homosexuality, forgiveness and divorce have taken into the uncertainties of today’s cosmopolitan and digital era.
Adeeb who has also directed the anthology said in a statement, "Each of the six stories in the anthology presents a different shade of love and relationships. From new love to rekindle a marriage, from infidelity to divorce, each story will take viewers on an entertainment journey replete with multiple emotions."
He added, "Along with the stellar ensemble cast, the city of Mumbai adds an interesting dimension to each of these stories."
Kaali Peeli Tales will premiere on Amazon MiniTV on August 20, 2021.
The actors namely Vinay, Gauahar, Sayani, Maanvi, Soni, Hussain, Sharib, Priyanshu and others are new to the world of OTT. These talents have been entertaining the masses for the past couple of years by featuring in the hit titles across the OTT platforms.
Vinay featured in Made in Heaven while Gauahar was seen in Tandav, 14 Phere, Sayani and Maanvi worked together in Four More Shots Please! While Sharib won hearts with his performance in both seasons of The Family Man, whereas Priyanshu surprised everyone with his role in Mirzapur season two.
