Kaala Paani is an upcoming survival thriller drama helmed by Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani. The Netflix series stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Mona Singh, Amey Wagh and Sukant Goel in major roles and talks about a place that is suffering from a deadly and mysterious illness. Ahead of the release, the makers have dropped a few promo videos revealing the role of the pivotal actors in the show. The latest character teaser features Gowariker as an Admiral, who holds the power to change the fate of people.

Kaala Paani's latest character promo

The new video witnesses Gowariker as Admiral Zibran Qadri, who can be seen as strict but at the same time responsible for the betterment of his state. The filmmaker-actor appears to be one of the most important high-rank officers of Andaman and Nicobar, who is on a mission to save his people from the deadliest illness they have ever encountered.

The makers dropped the latest promo with a special caption on Netflix India's YouTube channel that reads, "Meet Admiral Zibran Qadri, whose every decision has the power to change the fate of half a million people. (sic)."

Kaala Paani release date

Along with direction, Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani have also produced the show together under Posham Pa Pictures. Kaala Paani, which also features Vikas Kumar, Arushi Sharma, Radhika Mehrotra, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith as key characters with Chinmay Mandlekar, Jagdish Rajpurohit, David Wurawa, Parag Chadha, Veenah Naair, Sarika Singh, Dhaniram Prajapati, Avinash Kuri and Aradhya Ajana in supporting roles, releases on Netflix on October 18.
