Kaala Paani marks the highly anticipated survival thriller drama on OTT this week. Based on a one-of-a-kind story, the upcoming web series is set to follow a dark tale of mystery and existence. Helmed by the director duo Sameer Saxena and Amit Golani, the show stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Mona Singh and Amey Wagh in major roles.
Plot of Kaala Paani
Set on the island of Andaman and Nicobar, the upcoming series follows a dark tale that sees multiple mysterious deaths in the state that lead to a huge investigation by the police force, politicians, as well as doctors who try to find the reason and cure behind the unknown illness causing the casualties on a high level.
The cast of the show
Along with Gowariker, Singh and Wagh, Kaala Paani also features Radhika Mehrotra, Sukant Goel, Arushi Sharma and Vikas Kumar in key roles. Meanwhile, Chinmay Mandlekar, Jagdish Rajpurohit, David Wurawa, Parag Chadha, Veenah Naair, Sarika Singh, Dhaniram Prajapati, Avinash Kuri and Aradhya Ajana are supportive actors on the show along with others.

The official trailer showcases Gowariker as a major politician, Singh as the Chief Medical Officer of a big hospital in Andaman and Nicobar island, and Wagh as a police officer. The video gives a brief glimpse into the show that shows the whole place suffering from something dark and unknown that leads to multiple deaths as well as compels the tribal people to come out in front of everyone to find answers.

Written by Biswapati Sarkar, Amit Golani, Sandeep Saket, and Nimisha Misra, Kaala Paani is slated to be out to stream online only on Netflix on October 18.
