Satish Kaushik’s last movie Kaagaz 2’s trailer is out. The actor had helmed the original movie and in this, he is seen acting in it. Kaagaz 2 is helmed by VK Prakash and also sees Anupam Kher and Darshan Kumaar in pivotal roles. It is to be noted that while Satish was a part of the original film, he has not reprised his role for Kaagaz 2. The second installment will release in theatres on March 1.

Kaagaz 2 trailer sees Satish Kaushik in the role of a father who lost his daughter to traffic because of a bandh by a known politician. The movie revolves around him trying to find justice for his demised only daughter. Anupam Kher plays the role of a lawyer who fights the case on his behalf. Darshan is seen as Anupam’s son in the movie. The film also features Neena Gupta, in the role of his mother and Anupam’s wife. Smriti Kalra, on the other hand, plays Satish’s wife.

Anupam Kher remembers Satish Kaushik

While sharing details about the trailer being unveiled today, Anupam had posted a note for Satish Kaushik. A part of his note read, “I know how hard you worked to create this film. But we all will make sure that the brilliance of this film reaches the world!”

About Kaagaz franchise

The original film, Kaagaz, featured Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role. The movie, which released directly on OTT on Zee5, was about his fight with the government to declare that he is not dead. Bharat Lal Bihari (Pankaj Tripathi) fought the case for 19 years because the government declared him dead on paper and owing to that, he could not claim anything he owned. The film was well lauded when it released back in 2021. The original movie was directed by Satish Kaushik and saw him in the role of an advocate, Advocate Sadhoram Kewat.
