Jyothika Raatchasi has been dubbed in Telugu as Amma Vodi. The new trailer takes a jibe at the TDP party and the film is being released as a support to the current AP government.

The Tamil film, Raatchasi had Jyothika in a lead role and was released in Tamil Nadu five years ago and became a commercial success. Produced by SR Prakash and SR Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, the hard-hitting drama was directed by SY Gautham Raj on an intense note
Now years later, the same film has been dubbed into Telugu as Amma Vodi. Vaddi Ramanujam and Vallem Sesha Reddy are releasing this movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The trailer for the movie was released on Monday and it has caught the imagination of many.

Jyothika is seen as a teacher who changes the face of government schools in this social drama. Her towering performance in the role of someone trying to restore the damaged schools impresses everyone. Introducing Jyothika's character as a demon to those who have corrupted the education system evokes interest in the film.
Producers Vaddi Ramanujam and Vallem Sesha Reddy said that the film is being released at a time when the political scenario in Andhra and Telangana is at a high. "We are confident that this film, which was a critical and commercial success in Tamil, will also be successful in Telugu". says one of the producers.
The film showcases the shortcomings of the education system boldly and the intense dialogues in the trailer also take a jibe at the TDP party and support the current YS Jagan government.
