The final movie in the Jurassic World trilogy has now hit theatres around the country to the excitement of the fans of the franchise. While Chris Pratt returns in the movie, fans of the franchise are also excited to see the return of actor Sam Niell, who reprises the role of Dr. Alan Grant from the original trilogy.

In an interview with Forbes, the actor was asked what his experience was, playing a character that he essayed all the way back to the original Jurassic Park movie.

“In terms of the character, I always think Alan Grant is like an old comfortable pair of boots. They’ve seen better days, but they’re really comfortable, and there’s no way you’ll get rid of those. Of course, you put on the comfortable boots and the hat, and you’re back in it,” Niell said.

The actor further commented on his iconic character, saying that the character has not changed much. Saying that old leopards don't change spots, the actor added that it was all about being able to put a full stop at the end of a sentence as he reprised the role of the paleontologist.

The third and final movie in the reboot trilogy hit theatres in the country on Friday and has received mixed reactions from fans.

“Jurassic World Dominion is fun to watch with different species of dinosaurs, but only the roaring creates an impact on the screenplay without any depth.” read the movie’s review on OTTplay.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the movie also stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda.
