Jungkook: I Am Still - The Original, the docu series of BTS' Golden Maknae will land on OTT in December after receiving a lot of love in cinemas!

Jungkook, the youngest member of the popular South Korean boyband, BTS is also known as Golden Maknae. The singer recently released his solo musical journey in the documentary series JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL - THE ORIGINAL. After the successful run of the movie in cinemas worldwide, the docu-series is set to be released on Disney+ Hotstar in December.

Taking to their official X handle, BTS shared that Jungkook: I Am Still - The Original will land on Disney+ Hotstar on December 3 at 1:30pm IST. They also shared it on their official Weverse account.

According to the post shared on Weverse, the docuseries consists of three episodes and it will showcase Jungkook’s “golden moments” as he traveled around the world to promote his music for about eight months.

The docu-series will also include unreleased interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, and the full version of “Jung Kook ‘GOLDEN’ Live On Stage.”

Jung Kook: I Am Still documentary was released in India in cinemas on September 21 and 22.

Jungkook's message for BTS ARMY

In the brief clip, Jungkook earlier said, "Starting with my first official solo track, Seven, and throughout the promos for my studio album, Golden, I had a year filled with golden moments of happiness. Thanks to all the love that you gave me. Today I'm here to share some really amazing news. with everyone."

After announcing the docu-series, Jungkook added that his solo album, Golden, was a series of continuous new challenges, the long journey leading to a long album filled with songs of diverse genres. It tells the full story of Jungkook as a solo artist. It captures all the moments he connected with ARMY from all around the world through music and the many behind-the-scenes stories that I didn't get a chance to share.

On the other hand, Jungkook's latest venture, a travel show, Are You Sure?! along with fellow BTS member Jimin is available on Disney+ Hotstar. The show showcases the adventurous side of the two friends.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is currently serving in the South Korean military. He enlisted in the military in November 2023.
