In the third week of July 2023, cinegoers are gearing up for the releases of the two much-awaited films, Oppenheimer and Barbie on the big screen. Thus, there are only a few titles that are making their way to the leading OTT platforms. Among them is Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film, Bawaal, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film will premiere on Prime Video. Trial Period, featuring Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul in the lead roles, is also releasing on JioCinema this week.

Bawaal - July 21 (Prime Video)
The protagonist of Bawaal is High School History Teacher Ajay Dixit (also known as Ajju Bhaiya), who has created a false persona that has made him something of a local celebrity. Despite having a tense marriage, he and his new wife, Nisha, must travel through Europe during World War II together due to circumstances. His marriage is put to the test, and he is ultimately forced to face the greatest battle of all—the one raging within himself.

Estate - July 16 (ZEE5)
After the death of the estate's owner, Durga Venugopal (Ramya Nambessan), a prominent journalist, examines the famed Covelone Estates. Paranormal investigator Michael Devraj (Ashok Selvan) lends a hand to Durga and her group. Two people, Sub Inspector Sasi (Kalaiyarasan) and Dr. Reba Mathews (Sunainaa), enter the reportedly haunted Estate on the same night to rescue a captive coworker. Durga and Sasi conclude that there is more to the Estate's mysteries than has previously been revealed.
