Jugjugg Jeeyo: Dharma celebrates Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani's movie as it crosses Rs. 100 crore

Bollywood has had a less than impressive year asany of the biggies went into streaming without making a dent at the box office. Jugjugg Jeeyo, which was a highly anticipated release starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, was one of the few Hindi movies that has hit big at the box office. The movie's makers have now taken to social media to celebrate, as it gets to the Rs. 100 crore milestone worldwide.

Dharma Productions, one of the movie's makers, took to Instagram to share a short video featuring some of the best moments from the movie. Backed with the song Nach Punjaban, the video also celebrates the laughs and dance from the movie.

"They came to take over your hearts and are now ruling the box office. #JugjuggJeeyo enters the 100 crore club with your love and support!", they wrote in the post.

Karan Johar also took to the Instagram stories feature to announce the occassion. "With your love and support this crazy parivar is taking over the box office. Jugjugg Jeeyo enters the Rs 100 crore club with your love and support,” he wrote.

The movie saw solid growth on Saturday as reported by trade analysis Taran Adarsh. He also reported on Sunday that the movie has minted Rs. 61.44 crores and is expected to reach Rs. 65 crore after today.

"The writing department has done a great job of bringing together the emotional angle of the film. However, a few jokes seem only like WhatsApp forwards and bring out forced humour," read the movie's review on OTTplay.

Directed by Raj Mehta, the movie also stars Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli. Jugjugg Jeeyo is no available in theatres around the world.
