Pakistani politician and singer Abrar Ul Haq has claimed that Karan Johar has used his song illegally and that he could take legal action. Taking to Twitter, he said that he has not sold his song titled Nach Punjaban to any Indian movie and that he reserves the right to go to court.

He added that producers like Karan Johar should not be using copied songs and that this is his sixth song that has been copied.

In another tweet shared some time later, he said that Nach Punjaban has not been licensed to anyone and if anyone is claiming it, produce the agreement or he will be taking legal action.

The movie’s makers recently released its official trailer. The song Nach Punjaban can be heard playing in the trailer at one point. The trailer has been received well and already has over 35 million views on YouTube.
