Viraj Ashwin, the nephew of popular technician Marthand K Venkatesh, is gradually cementing his authority as a bankable performer in Telugu cinema. While he debuted with Anaganaga O Premakatha, he went onto act in films like Thank You Brother, the OTT release Valliddari Madhya, Mayapetika and the recent blockbuster Baby. His next film is titled Jorugaa Husharugaa.
The teaser of Jorugaa Husharugaa, directed by Anu Prasad, was launched today. The glimpse starts with a weaver, the father of the protagonist, philosophising on the highs and lows in life, how humans put up a happy face while concealing their sadness. The focus later shifts to the life of a youngster, who works at a corporate firm, has a colourful love life and shares a warm rapport with colleagues.
Prioritising work over love, Viraj Ashwin faces a mild conflict in his relationship with Pujita Ponnada and adopts whacky tactics to resolve it. Sonu Thakur, former Bigg Boss Telugu contestant Siri Hanumanth, Madhusudhan and Brahmaji too play important roles in the same. The film has a good dose of humour, family drama, romance, backed by impressive cinematography and music.
“Most of our parents don’t reveal their problems and only share their happy moments with us. Sai Kumar plays one such father in the film and the dialogue in the teaser aptly reflects his part,” director Anu Prasad shared. The film is produced by Nireesh Thiruveedula under Shikhara and Akshara Arts LLP. Praneeth Muzic is the composer and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
Suddhala Ashok Teja, Ramajogaiah Sastry, Kittu Vissaprada and Purna Chary are the lyricists. Mahi Reddy Pandugula cranks the camera for the film. Nivedita is the presenter. Aditya music has acquired the audio rights. Rishi Chowdary is the costume designer. Jorugaa Husharugaa is expected to release this November.
