The coming Sunday is going to be a memorable day for cricket lovers globally. India will take on Australia in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. To make the day more special, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, and singing sensations Jonita Gandhi and Pritam are likely to be present on the occasion.

According to a news report published on Jagran, Indian singing sensations Jonita Gandhi and Pritam Chakraborty are set to perform at the World Cup 2023 final. However, these two stars have not officially confirmed the development on their social media handles yet.

This development comes hours after a report published on HT City claimed that Hollywood singing sensation Dua Lipa is going to perform in India at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the occasion as well.

Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been invited to attend the India Vs Australia World Cup final on Sunday. In response to this invite, he has deputed Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles to attend the match which coincides with India, Australia 2+2 dialogue.

What’s special about Jonita Gandhi and Pritam?

Pritam Chakraborty, an Indian composer, instrumentalist, guitarist, and singer, made his mark in the industry after starting as an ad jingles composer. His debut as a co-composer was in the 2001 Hindi film Tere Liye. With a career spanning over two decades, he has contributed his musical talent to over 125 Bollywood movies. In 2023, Pritam composed music for Shehzada, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Tiger 3, and Dunki.

Jonita Gandhi, a popular playback singer, has made her mark in the industry, contributing her vocals predominantly to Hindi and Tamil songs, and with a few in Punjabi, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. Renowned for her YouTube presence, some of her standout tracks include The Breakup Song, Mental Manadhil, Chellama, and Arabic Kuthu. She made her singing debut in 2013 with Chennai Express. In 2023, she lent her voice to songs like “What Jhumka”, "Faraatta," and "Dil Ka Telephone 2.0".
