John Abraham-starrer Vedaa has got a relief from the censor board as the authorities have greenlit the film.
Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa has finally sailed through the delays and difficulties of censor certificates. Starring John Abraham and Sharvari as the leading pair, this Independence Day release was stuck after a delay in the clearance and certification of the film. In a recent development, it is now reported that the filmmakers have managed to secure a Central Board of Film Certification on Monday. Earlier, a joint statement addressed the issue of the certificate delay and informed that the CBFC committee will watch the movie on July 29. Read on to know more about the upcoming thriller.
John Abraham-starrer Vedaa has got a relief from the censor board as the authorities have greenlit the film with a U/A certificate. According to a report in Pinkvilla, it is revealed that Vedaa acquired a censor certificate without a cut. The decision was made after the screening by the certification body.

“Vedaa has been certified U/A by the revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification without a single cut. The makers have been advised to put a disclaimer at the beginning, and the entire content has got a clean chit from the certification body. The team of Vedaa is very happy with the smooth process and appreciates the fact that the CBFC team could relate to the important issue they are trying to address through the film,” a source told Pinkvilla.
Fans have been anxiously waiting for the trailer of Vedaa ever since the countdown started less than 20 days until its release. Ahead of the premiere of this action thriller on August 15, fans can expect a trailer this week.

Meanwhile, a week ago, Vedaa director and the producers had shared with the fans about the delay in accessing the certificate despite their best efforts. The official joint statement also stated that the revising committee of the CBFC will watch Vedaa on July 29 before sharing their verdict.
