The movie was earlier scheduled to release in March 2020, but the raging pandemic and lockdown restrictions made it impossible for a theatrical release and the film was indefinitely postponed.

Attack is an action-thriller movie revolving around a hostage crisis. The movie claims to be based on real events. Aside from John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernadez and Rakul Preet Singh will play important roles.

Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen in the Disney+Hotstar release Bhoot Police, a horror-comedy while Rakul Preet Singh played the romantic interest of Arjun Kapoor in the comedy movie Sardar Ka Grandson. John Abraham too was a part of the film. He played a cameo role.
