John Abraham’s passion and love for bikes and riding is well known to almost everyone. There have been many times when the ‘Dhoom’ actor has confessed his undying love for biking. That’s why it was only natural that John was super excited to see the trailer of Taapsee Pannu’s much awaited ‘Dhak Dhak’, a film about the grit and determination exhibited by women in order to scale the highest motorable pass. These four women include Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanjana Sanghi and Dia Mirza.

As a token of appreciation, John Abraham took to social media and wrote a heartfelt post for the actress turned producer Taapsee Pannu. John wrote, “Motorcycling is in my heart and I believe that I can ride better than I can walk. I have always been in love with motorcycles, so much so that I tuned one of my motorcycles in a way that the sound of the piston was in sync with my heartbeat. Whenever I sat on it, there was a sense of synchronization, where I felt one ‘with my bike and our hearts were beating together. I am told that’s exactly the ‘philosophy behind the title Dhak Dhak’ ‘This is my idea of romance”.

He added that he wanted to give a big shoutout to Taapsee & Pranjal (the writer of the film) for being brave enough to produce such content. He added that a film like this was so special and that it was high time that we saw a lot more women lead their own lives. He also added that he wished women would go out there and expel the notion that women can't ride. At the same time, he also mentioned that he always wanted everybody to make motorcycling a part of their lifestyle and that the film (Dhak Dhak) was more than celebrating bikes as it was about celebrating life. He summed it all up by stating that, if he were a woman or if he was anybody who wanted to celebrate life, he would do it with ‘Dhak Dhak’.

Upon reading this heartfelt note on social media from John Abraham, Taapsee Pannu reciprocated with a gratitude filled reply. She wrote, “Thank you so much John. This is so encouraging and heart-warming for a team who totally followed their heart’s Dhak Dhak at every step and every challenge. My 4 lovely heroes and the superhero crew have put in all sweat and heart to live up to the expectation of this FIRST…”
