Nawazuddin Siddiqui's last release, Afwaah, did not work at the Box Office either
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s second release of 2023 – Jogira Sara Ra Ra – has also begun on a low at the Box Office. The actor’s previous film Afwaah did not perform well either. Even though the movie is the best among the Friday releases, it is still a disaster at the Box Office.
Jogira Sara Ra Ra, according to a report on Box Office India, has minted as low as Rs. 25-30 lakhs at the Box Office on its opening day. Despite that, it is the best performing film for the particular Friday releases.
The movie was promoted to an extent. Its music received appreciation too. Nonetheless, it is a disaster at the Box Office.
Nawazuddin's last film Afwaah also had a poor Box Office collection. The movie earned Rs. 25 lakhs on day one, according to a report on Box Office Worldwide.
Aazam is the other Friday release which saw a poor performance at the Box Office. The film minted Rs. 10 lakhs net at the Box Office on day one.
The other releases on Friday were Auhaam, Lavaste and NRI Wives. None of the releases registered any collections and are only touching Rs. 1 lakh mark at the Box Office.
Apart from them, the Kerala film 2018 released in Hindi. Despite it earning well in the local market, the Hindi version of the movie minted only Rs. 4-5 lakhs.
Meanwhile, The Kerala Story continues to have the best Box Office collections on Friday. The movie earned Rs. 2.25 crores at the Box Office. Currently, the total collections of the Adah Sharma starrer are Rs. 196.82 crores.
